BLABBERMOUTH.NET - EVANESCENCE Singer: New Album Will Be Heavier And Softer
BLABBERMOUTH.NET:
This is the sound of some twerp giveing a bunch of other mega-twerps and some seriously gay dick-heads a sound verbal ass-kicking after a long page of less inteligent than Bevis and butt-head rubbish. Much like Bevis & matee but a lot lot less funny.
"to begin with, shes no where close to fat, and all of you guys talking shit like that must be queer or something, which is totally your choice None of you will ever get a girl as atractive as she is, so the fat comments are fuckin dumb.. Yes she has little range, but christina from lacuna coil isnt that much better. we all know Nightwish deserve the spotlight, and will get it soon. the only decent parts to this band(evanesence) were her voice and the piano, so the next album does sound interesting. that is if you are into female vox, like me."
All this because the idiot 15 year olds want to be cool-goth-kiddies all dressed in black.

The talking Cure
Guardian Unlimited | Arts features | The talking Cure:
"Well, then it was a rebellion against authority. But now you're not at school. Nobody cares how you look. Why still do it?"
"But the dress is just an outward manifestation of a rebellion against authority, and it's a lifelong rebellion against authority."
"Sure, but the authority doesn't exist that still cares. Why not rebel against an authority that exists?"
"Look, I get a much more extreme reaction when I have my hair really short. I look thuggish when I shave my head and wear big boots. I walk into a newsagent and people think I'm going to jump the counter. It's a much more extreme reaction."
